New!

The American Civil War--We got some info about Interactive Magic's newest project, and it's not a flight sim! In our Ground Warfare Simulations section.

HPS Simulations Section--We completely redid this section. It now not only looks better but is organized much better as well. This is only a preview of things to come for The Tankers' Homepage. We also updated the patches, email, and other information for HPS games. In our Ground Warfare Simulations Section.

HPS Discussion Board--We opened an Online Discussion Board devoted to HPS games. If you like HPS products don't miss it!

Other Related Sites--We added a number of new sites to this area.

Steel Panthers Scenarios--We have completely redone the SP scenario section. Not only does it look better but it is now organized in a much more logical fashion. The date a scenario is posted is also now listed (for those new from today on). We've posted five new scenarios to keep you busy as well.

Steel Panthers patch Ver 1.16x--We've linked to the new 1.16x beta patch. As always, this is a beta patch so use at your own risk. Also, please see the new Bug Reporting Guidelines for SP. In our Games Patches/Errata section.

MBT/IDF--We got news of a new MBT/IDF blind game being run by the game's designer. In our Game News section.

In Sight--We updated our coming releases section.

Steel Panthers Editor Ver 1.5--We got the new 1.5 version of the SP editor that includes the formation editor. In our Steel Panthers section.

Steel Panthers--We got the 1.15x beta patch. This patch fixes the sound problems. Long range Russian and MG fire effectiveness has been reduced along with a few other fixes. As always, this is a beta patch so use at your own risk. In our Games Patches/Errata section.

Windows 95--Paul has taken the plunge. Check out his report on how the upgrade went and how the new operating system runs DOS games.

Future Stuff

We will finally be adding the ability to submit Reading List titles online with dynamic updating (i.e. you put it in and it shows up). We'll have a review of Allied General and EF2000. Look for some additions to the The War College, Scholarly Papers section, and more book reviews. We also hope to get out a comprehensive Steel Panthers Player's Guide.

A Little Business

We would like to thank all those who have written with praise and encouragement. We would also like to thank all of you who have sent us suggested links for our Other Related Sites section. We've gotten so many suggestions that we haven't been able to check them all out, but as we do, we'll post the ones we like best. As always, your comments, good and bad, are welcomed and encouraged.
